What Happened in Those 13 Hours?

While the TikTok ban didn’t last long, the after-effects of said ban are leaving many users confused, suspicious, and even angry for a multitude of reasons. Some things people have been noticing is that their algorithms have changed such as their FYP. They claim it is completely different from what it had been before the ban. There have also been changes in the app itself. Some people suspect that the app is censoring certain things we view, and they might just be right. There have been several people talking about warnings popping up during specific videos, and they’ve also noticed that they can only share videos with one person at a time to “prevent misinformation”. However, the problem with this is that most of the time when these warnings are presented to app users, it’s only on a video of our president, Donald Trump saying something that could be considered controversial. Now I’m sure most people would agree that if it was towards all presidents, then it would be vastly different; however, it’s not, which leaves users wondering what exactly happened during that 13 hours without TikTok.
