On August 9, 2024, the long-awaited film adaptation of It Ends With Us was released starring Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. Not long after the anticipation for the movie died down lovers of the character Lily Bloom were given something else to watch when Baldoni, the actor of Ryle Kincaid, started a counter lawsuit against Blake Lively after she tried suing her costar for sexual harassment.
Since the lawsuits have gone on, Lively’s husband was also brought into the mess when Baldoni accused the couple of “hijacking’ the set of It Ends With Us.” Along with these accusations Lively was put in hot water with the public for how lighthearted she approached the release of the film considering that the film deals with heavy topics of abuse and domestic violence.
While it seems both stars have thrown serious claims at the other, clouding the water, Lively has been heavily and publically supported by various stars and is loved in Hollywood for her role in the TV show Gossip Girl and her husband Ryan Reynolds.
