The 2025 Super Bowl was played between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles started off hot on both sides of the ball, only allowing the Chiefs to get one first down during the first half while also scoring 24 points. The Eagles carried that over into the second half winning the game 40-22. The Chiefs could never get anything going. Everyone was expecting this game to be close and even for the Chiefs to have a possible win. Nobody anticipated that the Eagles would mop the floor with the 2x, Back to Back, Super Bowl Champs.
Jalen Hurts, the Eagles QB, was named Super Bowl MVP for his outstanding performance, finishing 17 of 22 for 221 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. He also rushed for 72 yards and another score.
