Many students prepare for tryouts as the new cheer and dance season approaches. This means that many students may feel nervous or scared. If you’re feeling this way, that is completely okay. Sometimes knowing what to expect during tryout can help ease that nervousness.
Students trying out for either dance or cheer spend one afternoon preparing for tryouts, learning different cheers and/or dance routines. On the second day, they perform in front of a panel of judges and scores are tallied. Students trying out work hard to learn the routines, and just need to remember to keep a smile on their face!
The head coach for Cheer is Sierra Sprague, and the assistant coach is Laryn Schnichels. The head coach for Dance is Delynn Abati. All coaches are looking forward to working with their 2025-2026 teams!
Cheer Tryouts are set for March 24th and 25th; Dance Tryouts are set for March 26th and 27th.
