Ultrakill is an Indie game that reached a 28,000-player peak, but it’s known by a small community. It was made by a Finnish man named Arsi “Hakita” Patala. The game itself is described as a fast-paced boomer shooter, but I would call it a small unknown masterpiece with an amazing music soundtrack.
Now I’m not telling you to go out and buy or play it, but you would only miss out on amazing music, game design, music, and gameplay if you don’t. For the fact that there is only one developer behind this gem, there are a surprisingly minimal amount of issues game-wise in the form of bugs or glitches. The game also features hidden areas and secrets that you would almost certainly miss just by playing normally.
Overall, the game is best described as a hidden gem and if you like games like Doom or similar styles of games, this is a must-try.
