Fort Scott’s very own Caroline Barnes has been named a 2024 College Board National Recognition Program Awardee. She received this award because of her outstanding performance on the PSAT, as well as AP exams throughout her high school years. She is a part of the National Rural/Small Town Recognition Program. This is a very important accomplishment and a substantial amount of hard work has been put into it by the senior. Congratulations to Caroline on this incredible achievement!

This is Claire McElroy, a junior who likes to play basketball. Her position in the Newspaper is the Print/Sports Editor. She joined the newspaper because she thought it would be fun to revive something that the school used to do. She hopes to spread her passion for newspaper and that more people will join in with helping to produce the school newspaper.
