From Whitechapel to Dean Martin, my top 5 favorite songs (in no particular order) are a rollercoaster of emotion, genre and storytelling that is sure to leave you with something, be it good or bad.
5.) MkUltra Victim – Negative XP
This track has just enough polish to make it listenable. Slightly distorted vocals, paired with an overdriven guitar makes for a fun listen that, for me, is top 10.
4.) Hey, Johnny Park! – Foo Fighters
This song brings me back to when this CD was in my Dad’s car and we were taking a road trip. It’s also a good example of Foo Fighters’ full range of sound.
3.) Ain’t That A Kick In The Head – Dean Martin
Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter.
2.) A Bloodsoaked Symphony – Whitechapel
I love Whitechapel, and I think this is representative of their sound; heavy, without being dumb.
1.) FBLA II – Helmet
I just love the sound of this song and helmet as a whole (pre 2016).
I hope you enjoyed some of my favorites and I hope you check them out!
