On November 26th, the Lady Tigers basketball team headed to St. Mary’s Colgan to look at some action before their season starts in December. The jamboree consisted of four teams (Colgan, Fort Scott, Girard, and Cherryvale) and each team played two games with three four-minute quarters.
The Lady Tigers faced Colgan and Girard, who they will see later in the season. While scores for both games were not tracked, it was easy to tell that they were very close. The team worked hard, played well, and looked solid. The jamboree helped them see where the Lady Tigers were physically and mentally after a week of practice.
Their first game of the season will be on December 10th at Paola versus Wellsville!
