As finals day approaches, students rush to turn in assignments that have been marked “missing” or maybe even ones they have not started. But, with going to school all day long, and then working after school and on the weekends, it can be hard for students to get their assignments completed. Being out of the house from 7 A.M – 9 P.M can be extremely taxing on a teenager. Many teachers understand this and give students at least two days to turn in an assignment. However, some teachers’ assignments are due sooner than that. That is okay, though, as the difference in due dates helps students balance this work. Yet, let’s be honest, many students have poor time management skills. Some students thrive under pressure while others crack. All of this is a big factor in the manner we get things turned in. As finals day approaches, many of us are under extreme pressure. Regardless of whether we thrive or crack under this pressure, making sure to keep our grades as high as possible is always a priority.
