Art Club is an after-school club run by Mr. Griffetts, bringing together like-minded individuals who share a passion for art. One of the best aspects of Art Club is the opportunity to gain experience through art shows, displaying work, maintaining art galleries, and participating in peer reviews.
A highlight of the club is Art Club Movie Night, a time for members to come together in a relaxed environment to hang out, create art, and watch art-related films. While the activities remain similar to regular meetings, the change in setting makes for a unique experience.
The films shown are all art-related and selected by vote. Some of the movies watched this year include Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse, Spirited Away, and Monument Men. Currently, Movie Night takes place on the first Tuesday of each month, though this schedule may change next school year.
